Review on Revlon Cordless Beauty Mirror with Illuminating LED by Jessica Burns

Very nice makeup mirror that gives off a lot of light for makeup, plucking eyebrows, applying false eyelashes, etc. I like that it gives off a cool white light rather than a warm yellow. bright. I accidentally tried to balance what I thought was color grading under warm yellow light and wow I learned my lesson. I've since tried using cool white light (or natural daylight) when applying makeup, and this mirror is great for that. The ring of light is very bright and will illuminate everything on your face (be prepared - LEDs are unforgiving). You can switch the mirror between 5x and normal, as well as tilt it back and forth. There's no way to adjust the mirror's height, so you'll either have to lean forward or set it on something like a stack of books. The actual viewing area is smaller compared to my other (unlit) mirror. At least that helps make the mirror ideal for travel as it's compact, although I wish it came with some sort of travel/storage bag. The battery life is said to be eight hours. It also doesn't come with a power adapter, although they do include a power cord. Not a bad cosmetic mirror, but it has its limitations.
