These knives go with almost everything! They're definitely not just for steak! They've become my favorite knives for most things, but be careful when slicing pitted fruit and watch out for the steak. Ceramic knives are more sensitive in this regard and can break if they hit a hard hole. But trust me, they're sharper than any stainless steel knife I've ever owned and you'll love them! Some complain about stains, but my secret: a little Bartender's Friend detergent will make them perfectly white! (You can probably find Bar Keepers Friend at your local grocery store, but if you can't, Home Depot sells one for about $1.50.) A protective case for each knife makes it safe to keep in your drawer without cutting yourself. And fun fact: If you've never used a ceramic knife before, you'll be glad to know that your apples won't brown as they normally do when you cut them in half with a stainless steel knife. Truth! It's the reaction between the stainless steel and the fruit that makes it go so fast. Use your ceramic knife and your apple will stay nice and white! I'm in love with these knives and the price for this set was great. You will not be disappointed.
