Powerful vacuum; but testy powerbrush

(2018) I've had this vacuum for about a year. I like it. Although I don't really like it. My main problem is with the brush. The connection between the rod and the brush is small. Maybe it's just my special brush, but I have to wiggle and press hard almost every time for it to snap into place, which is annoying because I switch back and forth between a power brush and a non-power brush quite often. a little (I have a full porcelain stoneware floor with rugs). Also, the foot "button" that has to be stepped on to unlock the brush's pivoting mechanism is also unreliable. I have to step on it very, very hard to release it (also annoying when you switch back and forth a lot). For what it's worth, I have no problem turning the head on and off without a powerbrush. It's easy to turn on and off and snaps into place with little to no pressure. So I know it's not user error. After all, the powerbrush sometimes sounds "funny", as if it were about to break. It sounds like it's about to burst or suck up small bits, although I know there's nothing to suck up. I don't know how best to describe it. But it sucks well because the bags are always full when I empty them. Apart from that I really like the vacuum cleaner. I find it cleans my floors really well, that's the main thing. The attachments and telescopic tube work smoothly and are easy to use. The ergonomic grip with the switch is great. Finally, the inside is where the pouches are kept very clean and I love that I don't have to touch the mess you suck up like I do with a pouchless device like the Dyson. who wanna do it Rough. Overall I'm glad I bought it. I suspect I'll need to replace the brush at some point, but the device itself works well after a year of heavy use. Update from 8/2020. Still going strong. I have no changes to the previous review. Powerbrush is the same but still works. Update 4/2021. So after 4 years of regular but careful use (just regular vacuuming but a whole lot) the powerbrush is finally dead. So I ordered a new powerbrush and WOW how I wish I had contacted Miele 4 years ago because it's awesome . Easy to move and snap into place. The buttons are easy to press with your feet. I must have originally had a lemon brush. Moral: Great vacuum, and if everything you get doesn't work the first time, trade it in. Don't fight 4 years like me. :/
