I've had my fair share of bad Lightning cables. This isn't one of them. The point where the cable goes into the lightning connector is thick and strong. I've had so many instances where they've broken or torn from stress, but that doesn't happen here. I have a high power adapter and it charges very quickly. Very good durable cable. (If you want something you can roll into a ball to carry around in your bag, consider buying a different cable.)
