I switched from Galaxy Note8 to Galaxy Note9 - and yes, it's worth it! Since both devices have a USB-C connector, I knew that a dedicated high-speed C-to-C cable would transfer my data much faster than the included C-TO microUSB cable and adapter. Wow how fast! I moved data, sounds, apps, files, settings, home screens, call logs and text messages in about 20 minutes! This is the fastest move I've ever made! Therefore I can only recommend this cable! Of course, you can use it with OTG accessories like external drives with USB-C connector. That's great!
