So got this in December because of the smaller space. And wanted the best airtight solution. It still smells slightly, if you open the top to put on a diaper, the stench spreads far. What to expect. But as the basket fills up, it begins to crackle and the sent leak out. At one point I resorted to a paper weight to keep it close by. The bag wasn't even full. I had thoughts for about 5 or 6 months. It broke after 4-5 months. But I am determined not to waste my money. The waste compartment is difficult to open when the bag is full. And on one of those tries, which I thought I'd get better at, the bottom brackets holding it up broke, causing the door to tilt. It closes and it's surprisingly easier to take out the trash when the bag is full. But it's still broken. With baby number two on the way, I'm considering replacing this in the fall, but I'd like to increase my use of reusable diapers over disposable diapers. And diaper genius isn't ideal for reusable diapers.
