I recently bought a pair of USB-C docs for <$40 and found that after USB ports and display drivers starving! This causes your computer to require more power to support certain USB peripherals. This happens more often when you're on a video call with two external monitors and speakers that support the same thing. This document provides an external power supply that solves this problem. I've had at least 20 problem-free calls so far. My two QHD monitors also display full resolution. For that reason, plus the use case + extra length of USB-C input cable, I'm rating this product 5 stars. Unless you're loading a document with speaker outputs, an external backup drive, and a camera, you'll probably be happy with cheaper devices.
