What I like most is that the pieces are two sided indicating a slightly different context of the item depicted, basically doubling functionality. They are light weight, easy to store, and so far under light use, durable.What I don't like is that some of the pieces aren't very functional as 2D play aides. For example, torches and doors. Putting one of these items on the map doesn't really give you much other than as a positional indicator, not to mention that any miniature would have to stand on top of it if it occupies the same space. In general, several pieces would benefit more by being placed in some sort of stand to make them a 3D popup/popout of sorts. I have retasked some pieces from another game to do just this.
