So far I really like this lens. I confess that I bought this lens from a certain seller because he said he had a 30 day return policy. I take photos with a Sony a7 and needed a fast, wide-angle lens for astral photography. This is a manual lens which reduces the use of this lens as, for example, a cine lens for wide angle shots or anything else that involves movement. As a landscape lens, however, it can do a really good job. I highly recommend using the focus zoom feature and I've even set the c3 button to pop up when using this lens, otherwise it's difficult to focus sharply, especially at night. I always shoot in manual focus at night and usually use a flashlight to focus on an area about 75 meters away and then exit, but I found it a bit more difficult to get perfect sharpness with such a wide angle. So take the time to focus. I noticed that the focus ring tends to focus on a very short rotation. This may be part of the difficulty I had in getting the sharpness I needed. Not to mention that it's impossible, just a micro-movement of the ring will result in a large shift in focus. Aside from focus, colors are good, I don't see much aberration or vignetting. It's a heavy lens and a very solid construction. Should last a long time. With competing lenses more than twice the price, this one is hard to beat, at least in the short term.
