Pin vise is acceptable and primarily what I bought this set for 'drills' are nothing but poorly carved pieces of metal that wouldn't make a hole in a ripe apple unless you bang them would with a hammer. in. The drill holder could not be pry open in my case and the design that was supposed to slide was of poor quality. Yes I knew it was very likely and as I said the pin vise seems very handy. Only the two largest drills have anything resembling a point angle, the others vary from square (one might say chipped) to a crude attempt to give them the typical point angle of a drill, but only on one side. They can be used to clean a hole but not to make one.
