These were really cool training wheels, my kid loved them. The setup wasn't that bad, but maybe it was just our particular bike, they didn't sit flush with the ground; It actually worked well, allowing my son to start feeling the balance of the bike, but I think it caused extra wear, both getting on and off, and when he leaned a little more on a wheel the plastic cracked and the wheel started to feel bad after about a week of use.
