These bowls are great for cooking and mixing. I love them because they can save everything I do. I think they use better lids too. In the past, some Pyrex lids became brittle after washing. I'm not happy about that. I also suggest, as usual, not to put them down with the lids fully closed after washing, as sometimes a pressurized environment seems to build up inside, making it difficult to open and likely causing my others to become brittle or break when opened . Either way, these are great, durable Pyrex mixing bowls that won't warp or bend like the metal people love to use.
