Maybe it's because they are described in the metric system. The strings are only 8 feet long. and each tube is only 1 foot apart. There is no way to place them in a way that they do NOT look like they are on a rope. I seriously doubt this is what the pros use. If you plan on hanging them from a tree less than 8 feet tall, they're fine. But if you want them hanging from a big tree and spaced out proportionally, look elsewhere. The power supply is waterproof in the fog, but that's about it. Honestly for what you get and I've gotten more than a few compliments I think mostly because I'm the only one living next door. I think the pictures of big beautiful displays they claim to be using are misleading. They are very bright and eye-catching, but the threads are so short that they all stick together, not at all what I was hoping for.
