Well those meteor shower lights are an interesting thing. They look great when they work. The site says you can join multiple threads. This is partly true. You have the option of attaching multiple strands. What they don't tell you is that their fancy little power adapter can't power more than 1 line without a power supply. So you cannot connect multiple strands. You need to run a power cord to each light string. So unless you have a ton of extension cords, avoid those lightbulbs.

Be careful and check before you get stuck. I have purchased many of these lamps over the years and have always been satisfied. This time I ordered cold white as always. The box says white so I didn't think to check. I hung them in the trees and lit them tonight. They are all blue. Not just a very cold white. They are dark blue. I suspect that the blue sets were not packaged properly. I'm too tired to photograph them but wanted others to know and verify the correct colors before hanging them.

I ordered 4 of these to cover about 40 feet of my roof line. They come on some sort of transparent speaker wire for the power supply, I used a heavier gauge steel wire as a backing so the wire that comes with this cannot support the weight of the bulbs due to the high winds we live in. To be honest I never leave product reviews but if I can help someone it's worth it. Lights have a very nice effect when working, but their usefulness is limited because you can only connect two strands together and the distance between each light is minimal. Therefore you will need a lot of extensions + strands to get a good fit. Also, the headlights just don't last very long, for example the two filaments I bought had a lifespan of less than 4 hours. Maybe it's because they are described in the metric system. The strings are only 8 feet long. and each tube is only 1 foot apart. There is no way to place them in a way that they do NOT look like they are on a rope. I seriously doubt this is what the pros use. If you plan on hanging them from a tree less than 8 feet tall, they're fine. But if you want them hanging from a big tree and spaced out proportionally, look elsewhere.
