I've read many reviews of this company's floor mats, they seem mostly positive but I didn't want to spend £200 to replace my regular floor mats . My trunk probably has a higher soiling potential and since it comes from the factory without a mat I figured it would be better to invest in it. I also wanted to get a better idea of how the material compares to the more standard rubber material that everyone else uses for their mats. The first impression, VERY light, looks cheap. The material feels like a mix of foam and fabric. The bottom is non-velcro so the mat won't stick in place. NO smell when I opened the package. Once installed, it is very easy to access the hidden trunk compartment. The lightweight material makes this very easy, and the lack of sticky Velcro also makes it easy to adjust the mat after the fact. I'm not going to intentionally spill and make a mess to test how durable or easy to clean it is. But considering how light it is, it should be a lot easier to pull out to clean than a heavy rubber mat. Overall I like the material and design of this blanket for my trunk. I probably wouldn't do floor mats. this stuff for my car though.
