To be honest, I did not study this product when buying it. Just a word of caution to anyone planning to use this in their garage on any type of car. This is not the product you are looking for. I bought this to put on my garage floor which was previously coated with epoxy so my car wouldn't lose traction when it rained. I drive a sports car with rear-wheel drive. This product didn't do the job. The template I used was two strips parallel to each other, about an inch apart on the driver and passenger sides and about 12 inches from the nearest set of two. The first 1 just after I hit them to get into the garage was blown to bits the first time I drove in. Now they are slowly starting to tear over time. About 3 weeks. For every other use, I found that it definitely has enough grip and, depending on the surface, good grip. I would definitely recommend it for other purposes. Again, I have not researched the product and am merely posting this as a warning to other potential buyers wanting to prevent their vehicle from skidding. Not a bad product but just not what I needed.
