I was a bit hesitant because other reviews complained about installation difficulties, but I think most of these were for AMD systems. I bought this cooler for my Intel LGA 1155 system and the installation was very easy and straightforward. Remove the current cooler, remove the old thermal paste from the CPU, add some fresh thermal paste, align the new cooler and screw it in place. I did it in 20 minutes. a bit off center. In most cases, you want the larger half at the back of the case, which leaves a little more room in the front. In my case this was necessary to leave enough space for the RAM banks. Of course, also measure to make sure you have enough vertical clearance in your case. The cooler itself is very efficient and very quiet, as are all of the beQuiet fans I've used. My CPU temp has been consistently 10 degrees lower since I upgraded the stock Intel cooler. A highly recommended product!
