Poor product suitable for oil system tools

I am an experienced auto technician and have used similar tools in the past. I was hoping this was the right product and when I first applied it to the plastic oil filter housing it slipped and wouldn't come off. Immediately got it from my colleague's tool box and removed the oil filter without any problems. I think my only criticism of a non-branded tool is that the mold they are made of is slightly different and basically renders it useless.
