I have a Brother Quattro embroidery machine and use it a lot for my small business. This means that I use a lot of embroidery needles. A few years ago they were a reasonable random price, now it's outrageous that Schmetz (formerly used needles) charges fees to shops like JoAnn who sell them, so I looked for alternatives and tried them. Well, after changing needles, I have to tell you that these BROTHER needles are, without exception, the BEST. You're encouraged to switch needles after each project, whether it's a small embroidery job or a large one. The embroidery needle companies need to tell you that ;-) Well, because of the cost of the needles, I've been using them for as long as I can. My machine is so sensitive that it basically tells me when to change needles while it's running. One job finished, then the 2nd, then the 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th, 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th. I couldn't believe it. I was lucky enough to get 3 jobs with a needle the same size as SCHMETZ. I will use up all SCHMETZ needles and ONLY buy them from now on.
