I recently started playing on my PS4 Pro which has been idle for many months and launched God of War. As you may know, this game can almost break your system and make it explode on Mach V in terms of fan noise. I had to fix it. Even my wife thought my PS4 was about to explode. So I did a little research and ordered this fan. That's more than I wanted to spend, but I also wanted to enjoy my PS4 Pro. The fan came east by disassembling the PS4 Pro (be sure to order the torx kit) and soon I installed and assembled the fan. I started God of War and immediately noticed how much quieter the system had become. was. Before the update, the fan was running on the intro screen. New fan, quiet. I ran a difficult area of the game where Kratos and his son are overwhelmed and although I could hear the fan it was very acceptable and has improved greatly. Once the action slowed down, the fan would return to low speed. All in all, I recommend this upgrade. It's a shame I had to spend $35 but it was worth it.
