This chair is all plastic and comes requiring assembly. For the most part, the pieces snap together and are then reinforced with nuts and bolts.Assembly Tip! Make sure that you push the nuts all the way in to their intended spot. If you don't, the bolt won't find it and you'll have to remove and try again.I only had one spot that I just couldn't get right but the rest were fine. The chair is sturdy and I expect if it gets dirty I'll just be able to hose it off. It is comfortable enough and I like that the cup holder can be stowed back into the armrest when not in use.
