The player worked great when I could use it

Upgrade: Upgraded to 4 stars. After about 2.5 months a replacement adapter arrived and everything is fine. After the initial confusion of not receiving message notifications was resolved, the seller and I communicated regularly and stayed in touch while we waited for the new adapter to arrive. So can't really complain about the player itself, but I only managed to use it once before the adapter broke. I installed it below to make sure everything worked, which it did, so I unplugged it to move it to my endpoint in the bedroom. I set everything up, selected an album and turned it on, nothing. I thought I was crazy and didn't connect it, so I checked the cable and everything was fine. Okay, maybe that's the way out, I don't use it often. So I unplug it and I hear a rattling noise in the power adapter itself. I literally plugged it in twice and something broke in the adapter rendering the player unusable. I understand that I can find a replacement adapter, but seriously? I'm not sure why I would want to do this as I've only used the one that came with the kit twice. I've emailed the company to let them know and ask for a replacement adapter, but have yet to receive a response to any of the three emails I've sent in the last few weeks. I will return soon. In other words, choose another company/player. I gave it 2 stars because it sounded decent enough for the price when I had to use it.

Pros
  • Pretty impressive
Cons
  • Boring packaging

Plays records and is inexpensive, what more can you expect?
