I'm pleasantly surprised by this light. This is perfect for my intended use as a lower level light over a kitchen sink and countertop. The 2-4 foot fluorescent tubes I currently use use 5.5 watts of electricity instead of 80 watts. It won't completely replace a 4" fluorescent bulb, but is ideal when 80W light is not needed. Installation was easy, I opted for mounting brackets with screws. The length of the power cord is great and all I needed was its length, what luck. The remote control is also a very useful feature, it works great. Nice light color, not too saturated at 100% power. The light dims and gets slightly brighter than the night light when set to the lowest setting. The quality is better than I expected. I'm a happy buyer. I can definitely recommend this lamp.
