I bought these forceps for use in making paracord bracelets, primarily. They will work for that and light general household use. They are far from perfect, however.One pair will not close and lock properly. I have to close it and kind of pinch the two finger holes together to get the lock to catch, and it will not catch on the first tab. The other pair works fine but the plating is split and peeling up around the hinge.I give these a higher rating than they would otherwise warrant because of the low price I paid of seven and change, including shipping. For this price I am satisfied.
