Good choice for entry level hi-fi stereo

Great speakers, goes well with my Cambridge Audio Topaz AM5, produces above average hi-fi sound - nice bass, plenty of mid and high clarity, in overall Excellent entry-level Hi-Fi. Stereo for under $350: $249 speakers + $100 amplifier - great value! No problem installing speaker stands, just make sure you pre-drill the screw holes.
