I bought an 8ft section of box track for my living room closet door. The track had pre-drilled holes for ceiling mounting, but I didn't have any studs to mount the track to. They allow you to attach the rail to the wall studs instead. In my case, I had to make some spacers out of 3/4" plywood to keep the door from touching the wall, but this issue is probably unique to me (my door is about 3.5" thick). In general, I am satisfied with the work of these braces. Keep in mind that they must be mounted in studs, so you may not have much flexibility (from an ascetic point of view) in where you place the brackets. I recommend them and will buy them again if the need arises.
