Got two of these for my garage and install is a little physically demanding especially if you do it by yourself like i did only because you're doing everything overhead. A little time consuming as well. Again more so if you do it alone. Took me a total of about 8 hours to install my two. Otherwise instructions were pretty clear and overall the install wasn't complicated. I'd recommend a small scaffold as opposed to a ladder. When i started i was using a ladder and decided that was going to be too difficult so i borrowed a small scaffold from a friend. I'd also recommend using a Stud Buddy stud finder as opposed to the electric stud finders. If you don't know what those are they are magnetic stud finders that magnetically stick to the screws in the drywall. Not only are they much cheaper but the magnet is strong enough to hold the template in place while you mark it. I used two studs buddy's to hold the template up while i marked it. Worked great. I haven't put any load on the racks yet but i will soon. So far they seem really sturdy. They will sway a little if you push from the long side but i don't see that being a problem.
