Review on Freeze Beer Glasses - 16 Ounce Freezer Gel Chiller Double Wall Plastic Frozen Pint Glass (Set of 2, Grey) by Nick Ross

I rated this a 4 but it really looks more like a 3.5 to 3.75 to me. Nothing wrong with me, just that I wish the cups had a little more freezing gel in them. The first one I put in the freezer I did upside down to prevent dirt getting into the cup while it was in without considering that the Gelnote might expand as it freezes. Hence the full bottom of the 2-3 inch cup had no frozen gel and therefore no refrigeration at what I think is the most important point. the bottom of the mug where the oldest beer is heated. :(On the second try, I froze the cup right side up. That worked better because there was now a thick frozen gel at the bottom of the cup. However, this did not cause any cooling power at the top of the cup. The amount of the gel in these mugs will stop somewhere when it's frozen. Then under the silicone band. Leave maybe 3" empty at the top of the mug of frozen cooling gel. So the frozen gel will only directly cool maybe 7-9 ounces of your 12 ounce beer. bad problem as it's the top and those 3-5 ounces are used up first and the top beer level falls into the chill zone sooner rather than later, but it's not ideal.
