Terrible product. I bought the set as a Christmas present and both glasses broke within 2 weeks. They do not stand up to freezing/advertised use. waste of money!

Although it was a replacement set they had the same problem as the first set. The plastic rim cracked and then detached from the cup. The gel was exposed at the fracture site. As I said, this is the second set so save your money because they don't work.

These are the glazed mugs that you put in the freezer. Mugs have a liquid substance on the side of the mug to keep the drink cold. I am very disappointed in this mug as the wall of the mug is less than half filled with coolant. I understand they need to stay the same due to the expansion of the liquid during the freezing process. However, filling the walls of the cup less than halfway with freezing liquid is wrong and drastically reduces the quality of the product.

I've had 3 of these mugs from different places and they've lasted me for years. Gradually everything collapsed. It was just a mistake on my part for leaving her. Unlike all bad reviews, these will last as long as you take care of them. They are not supposed to be thrown at all. So I'm finally buying one because all my other ones broke. The first one I put in the freezer I did upside down to keep dirt out of the mug while it was there without considering that the Gelnote might expand as it freezes. I had high hopes for this product. I don't think I would buy it again, but I won't be returning it either. And I certainly wouldn't give. The gel actually keeps liquids cold for a long time. I don't like drinking from plastic dishes. However, a friend served me a citrus martini in a host martini glass and I was impressed. The rim is thin, so it feels more like drinking from a regular glass than a regular plastic one, and I didn't notice that "plastic smell" that I associate with plastic cutlery.
