I bought this heater for use during power outages where I live whilst hooked up to a small inverter generator. I needed something with low wattage and wanted radiant heat rather than heat blown out by a fan. It has good safeguards in the event of a rollover. Luckily I haven't had to use it yet, but when it arrived I tried it to make sure it worked. I ran it on the lower 400w setting for a short time and can say that it suits my needs perfectly. I felt warm on the 400w setting so I know it will keep me warm on the 800w setting. It came at a higher price point than I was willing to pay, but I justified it by knowing I wouldn't compromise any of the features I was looking for. After extensive comparisons and research, I am very happy with this purchase. would recommend.
