Review on Recordable Dog Training Buttons with LED Function for Teaching Your Dog to Talk - Orange, Blue, Green, and Pink by Cindy Plant

Works but doesn't suit me

I used these buttons to record the sounds my dogs used to communicate. For the past few weeks, I've been teaching them to use these keys to ask for "eat" or "go outside," among other things. Recording a message is so easy my 1 year old does it about 3 times a day. on the button. I overwrite all the time and it sucks. My dogs can also easily delete my message and record their own so I can't hear what they want when they hit the button later. One thing I really dislike about the buttons is that they aren't attached to anything. So if I place them on the floor in a specific order so my dogs can learn where each button is, they are easy to move. I ended up attaching the command strips to the back, but even so, my larger dog will freak out and pull them off the floor. My son also knows how to draw and wear them. Since I have dogs that press buttons, sometimes they don't press in the exact center and no sound plays. I can hear the paws slapping the plastic but I have to go to the buttons and hope they do it again or I have no idea what they want. Overall, the keys are easy to record, have decent sound quality if you record the message correctly, and play a tone when pressed. It works as advertised. If you want to use this as a dog communication system, you can find something more dedicated for that. Especially when you have a 70 pound dog that LOVES being "outside" and a curious, driven toddler who thinks he's a dog.
