flimsy plastic

I knew out of the box it was fragile and handled it very carefully, but one of the tabs holding it in place broke at the top. When I finished soldering the wire harness I came back and one of the screws holding the two halves together broke. I don't know how it broke, I put it very carefully on a piece of styrofoam. Maybe it's just bad plastic. Doubts about return or repair
