This is a great monitor, sharp and fairly bright. The touchscreen controls work very well and the glass front makes cleaning easy and protects your fingers from injury. The only reason it doesn't get 5 stars is Windows' fault, not the monitor. I don't have a smartphone or "mobile device" and am new to touchscreens. Some "experts" have assured me that the Windows 7 touch interpreter does indeed interpret touch as a mouse click and that most programs interpret touch in this way. So I bought this monitor to use with Glass Cockpit Flight Simulator. Trainer who thought I could use my hand to touch the screen and "push buttons" just like on a real airplane display to add realism and value to the training. Unfortunately, the touchscreen doesn't behave that way and it didn't work. I later learned from mfg'r that the simulator package "does not support the use of touch screens". Oh ok. It's still a great monitor; Touch control works with other programs.
