Best option for magnetic options but not ideal

Should really only be 3 stars but it is available today is the best option for a magnetic privacy screen. The Good: - It looks fantastic - on a 15" MBP it fits perfectly, it sits almost snugly on the black rubber pad that runs along the edge of the glass on the screen so it's basically aligned. - The magnet is strong enough, it could make it a bit thinner, but overall it's not too bulky for me - The ability to flip it for a matte screen is perfect for working on the go and not having control over the light situation. - The webcam notch is not deep enough for a standard webcam cover with small round/oval panels A real missed opportunity for not embedding the webcam cover, or at least providing it for its dimensions - Virtually no static cling, so the lower corners do not stick to the glass, causing the lower corners to become blurry, and sometimes when both corners do not move down, the blur covers a 1.5-1 band inches off the bottom of the screen. It also increases the risk of bending and folding when closing the lid (I hope the warranty covers the inevitable bending of the corner). I had it not long ago, but it's so annoying I can't imagine having it on all the time. Hopefully there's a middle ground I just haven't found that keeps the bottom flush with the screen.

Pros
  • Limits viewing angle to +/- 30 degrees and hides personal or confidential information from anyone trying to see from the outside
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for seniors
