Really hard work! suitable for power cord

This is a heavy duty 120VAC cord for high performance computers such as rack mount servers. It's longer than the average cable and has strong molded connectors on both the male and female ends. I looked closely at the cable and even cut it open to see the cross section as shown in the photos I uploaded. Pros: ** Strain relief moldings at each cable end are well fitted. I couldn't get them to detach from the cable insulation, even with a lot of stress and flexing.** The outer insulation is strong. It seems to me that it will definitely stand up to scratching on a sharp sheet of metal found on a shelf. It took some effort to cut through with a utility knife.** The inner insulation is also strong. After removing the outer sheath, I cut and stripped the inner conductors. It took some effort to strip the individual insulation for each conductor with a wire stripper designed for contractors.*** 14 AWG wire is made up of many strands. I'm sorry I didn't take a picture. It doesn't exactly look like a monster speaker wire (i.e. a wad of copper hair), but it has plenty of strands. ** The ground wire is the same size and quality as the two conductors. ** The connector's pins are well finished with a glossy finish that appears to be of good quality and solid thickness, but of course difficult to measure without laboratory equipment. Looks solid, although this type of cable isn't typically plugged in or unplugged too often. **I measured the cable and it's practically dead at 10 feet. I've had other cables from different manufacturers that weren't as accurate. You should be aware that this cord is also no longer than 10 feet. If you're looking for something with a slight longitudinal slant, this cable doesn't have it. It's definitely done. So, super durable, for what it is, inexpensive, long enough to go from your rack mounted heat source straight to the wall :-) That's the way to go.
