Review on 🚙 Jeep Mirrors for TJ, JK, JKU, JL (1997-2018) - Pack of 2, Quick Release Door-off Jeep Wrangler Mirrors, Black by Joseph Harkins

I looked at it for a while before buying it because like you I read the reviews. On the plus side I don't have to pay a fine because I don't have side mirrors, I can see them when reversing (sometimes) and they generally look good on my jeep and there isn't much vibration yet. The downside: the included gasket wears out after a use or two if you tighten them enough that they don't move faster than the smell. As soon as I got above 45 or so the wind would blow them to a different position or close them completely and this can limit visibility. After a good four uses in just a few days where the base of the mount meets the threaded part it loosens and won't tighten leaving this mirror completely unusable now. Note: I took a cross. Hand it off and just use it in one piece. Much easier to assemble alone.
