Usable PCB area is much smaller than expected for 4 " x 4 " OD

I wanted to fit a 3.4" x 3.16" PCB, but too many corner braces (plastic vs. screws) left much of the interior unusable (see photo). With an external dimension of 5.73" diagonal, there are approx. 1.2" fewer diagonals available on the inside. With all box sizes of this design, this loss must be taken into account due to the fastening construction. This is just an FYI if applicable.
