As other reviews have noted this is a lightweight easel making it travel friendly. However, this makes it a little unreliable in windy conditions or when it's clumsy, so I solved this by adding weight with the included storage bag and stuffing a couple of 16-ounce water bottles inside. I used the velcro that is part of the easel so there is some weight with a lower center of gravity. I don't like that the shelf is 1) plastic (as opposed to metal) and 2) shorter than the easel shelf so you are limited by the width of the shelf to spread your legs - it would be better if the shelf would be metal and the same length as the bar. But the shelf is convenient. Easy to set up and I had no issues with the legs or clips to hold the drawing board. The rubber feet are made of hard rubber, which probably means they'll last longer than softer rubber, but it also means they'll slip a bit on slippery floors. slide. Considering how cheap the easel is, there's nothing to complain about. However, I would pay more for an upgraded shelf as it would offer more functionality and durability. Regardless, I would still recommend if you need an easel for travel or don't have a lot of room to leave your easel.
