Robust and reliable microphone for podcasts.

If you're looking for a well built, clear sounding and beautiful microphone for your podcasts, video conferencing or singing, you'll find the AU-HD300 hard to beat. It far beats its price in terms of quality, features, and ease of use. The classic look and style is reminiscent of my AKG P5 microphone, but the added features of the onboard USB-C interface and headphone jack make it much easier to use with a computer. also a nice addition. The cardioid polar pattern ensures good noise cancellation due to the microphone, so keyboard noise is kept to a minimum and the output is clean and low-noise. The only caveat is that the frequency response dips around 60Hz and again above 16kHz, so it might not be ideal for instruments like piano, brass or drums. But as a vocal mic it's more than good, and the included desktop accessory means you don't have to buy it to use it right away.
