Worked on my Linux system

I gave up Windows for Linux over a decade ago, and there are equivalent free, open-source apps for whatever you need. In this case, Audacity acted as the recording device. You just need to select USB as the audio source.

Pros
  • Robust design
Cons
  • Hard to say

This is by far the best microphone I've ever owned.

This is by far the best mic I've ever had. I use it for games. My friends said I sound very clean. Very easy to set up, equipped with a headphone jack for zero-latency monitoring. You can monitor your voice in real-time through the headphones, allowing you to record more freely!

Pros
  • Good stuff

Portable and great quality for beginners

This mic was pretty easy to set up and I did a mic test when it was plugged directly into my computer via USB. I was struck by how clear it sounded straight away in my headphones. This would be a great portable mic for podcasting. The stand felt very solid and everything was easy to use right out of the box.

Pros
  • I hold my fists
Cons
  • Expensive insurance

Best mic for the price

I wanted the best voice quality while gaming and this mic delivers 100%. Super easy USB setup and deploying GOXLR in case I want to upgrade. HUGE thing, remember for new mic buyers like me that you can customize the mic base, you might consider buying this "arm" mic holder. If you're a tall person I have to bend my neck a little, but that was just a bad habit.

Pros
  • Best in its niche
Cons
  • Slightly torn

Average at Best - Audio and Video Accessories

We were given this to start recording, but to our surprise, the MacBook's built-in microphone worked better than this whole setup. Voices are clearer and cleaner with fewer clicks. Not to mention some hum from this mic over the USB port. We haven't tested XLR so this might help if you have an external audio interface like the 2i2. After returning it, we ordered an Audio Technica ATR2100X-USB and were surprised by the high quality and clarity of the recorded content. As always, your mileage mayโ€ฆ

Worthy competitor for computer microphones

My previous microphone was the Samson C01U Pro, it's very similar in performance and has a few extras. I was blown away by the price for what you get with this thing. Definitely something to consider for any recording, podcasting, video work or even musician. Pros: Great design Works with Windows Plug and play Volume and headphone jacks Excellent sound quality - great for YouTubers, podcasters and more! Comes with stand, cables and pop screen. The included cables are damn strong! Cons: Buttonsโ€ฆ

Robust and reliable microphone for podcasts.

If you're looking for a well built, clear sounding and beautiful microphone for your podcasts, video conferencing or singing, you'll find the AU-HD300 hard to beat. It far beats its price in terms of quality, features, and ease of use. The classic look and style is reminiscent of my AKG P5 microphone, but the added features of the onboard USB-C interface and headphone jack make it much easier to use with a computer. also a nice addition. The cardioid polar pattern ensures good noiseโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Only positives
Cons
  • Not the best

I am very impressed with this mic, firstly it seems to be much more durable than what you usually find in this one price range. The microphone itself is well assembled, the stand is pretty strong. I don't see any problems using the stand, it's made well enough to withstand years of use. I have thoroughly tested this mic with USB and XLR connections and compared it to the MXL 2003, Blue Yetti and Sure SM57 and this mic performs very well. Rugged, easy-to-install mic

Revain brought this mic out today, so I can't comment on durability yet, but I can comment on first impressions. Very nice and well packaged. The Maono box isn't flimsy, the seal around the microphone components is secure, and the assembly instructions are clear and illustrated. Anyone who doesn't know anything about microphones can assemble it in minutes. A very good microphone. The base is made of durable steel, the microphone is heavy and easy to assemble. The microphone is hanging in a kind

Pros
  • Not just usable for its intended purpose
Cons
  • There are flaws
