I am very impressed with this mic, firstly it seems to be much more durable than what you usually find in this one price range. The microphone itself is well assembled, the stand is pretty strong. I don't see any problems using the stand, it's made well enough to withstand years of use. I have thoroughly tested this mic with USB and XLR connections and compared it to the MXL 2003, Blue Yetti and Sure SM57 and this mic performs very well. Pole and attached to the stand I was afraid it would break when screwing it on. $100. What you get with this kit I really think will get you off to a great start, it will give you everything you need to get your tone right at a price that won't break the bank and at the same time you won't, however cost of the sound or build quality of the product.
