Fan circulated less air at high speed than my 27 year old Hunter fan at low speed. I ended up buying another fan for my bedroom with a higher CFM rating. (I had never heard of CFM until I decided on a fan that barely circulates air. However, this fan works great in a small room with a not-so-high ceiling.
