I followed all the instructions and just connected the filter to the phone app. However, when I tried to fit the filter into my oven, I found that I had ordered the wrong size. I forgot about him for a couple of weeks until I went down to the basement and saw him sitting by the stove. Out of curiosity, I opened the phone app and found that the filter life was 91%!?!? However, I have never used a filter. A month has passed and the app now reports that the filter is 79% down even though it has never been used. In such a case, the app will probably tell me that the filter will need to be replaced in about 4 months, even if it has never been used! Whatever that orange dome on the filter is doing, it's not measuring actual usage and the app just seems to have timing. And what's worse, I was forced to buy these two obvious plagiarisms when I only needed one. Very surprised that such a large company as 3M sells such a product.
