Review on πŸƒ Optimized for SEO: Osprey Duro 6 Hydration Running Vest by Melvin Man

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Excellent for big boys!

I'm 6'1", 200 lbs, 43" chest. It fits my body structure perfectly. I bought the Duro 6 in L/XL because I found it to be a good compromise between the 1.5 and the largest capacity. It's small enough for my 4 mile runs but has enough potential to be perfect for ultra long runs. It can hold a 1.5 liter tank (included), as well as my phone, car keys, hiking poles, light jacket, climbing gels, protein bars, headlamp, etc. and doesn't feel too unbalanced. I looked at the Nathan and Salomon vests and found them to be perfect for my needs at this price point. Nathan and Salomon make great products and this review is in no way intended to disparage their products. As for the price, I bought it used ($80). Revain described it as "good condition". As a certain Osprey connoisseur, the only flaw I could find was that the bladder tube was kinked. I pulled out the tube, cut off the ruffled part, reattached it and boom! Hard actin tinactin! Overall: A typical quality vest from Osprey. Fits great. Adjustment straps, if necessary, are well placed. Colors improve visibility when running in low light conditions, LOTS OF POCKETS. I mean a lot. Osprey really did a great job. Is it better than West of Nathan or Solomon? To each his own. If you are looking for a quality vest, just buy one and end your search. For around $100 you can't go wrong. If after a few runs you're really unhappy with it, contact me and I'll buy it off you! These things are so good!
