It's as simple and straightforward as it gets. While not a factory designed and manufactured tool for Polaris ATVs, it works exceptionally well. Nothing feels tight or tight during the removal process. Actually it's a bit boring. I used this to remove the flywheel from the crankshaft on my 1999 Polaris Xplorer 400. I've tried everything else and spent hours on this process. This tool mounts easily to the flywheel with hardened bolts (included) that meet my specific needs. It also comes with two large screws of different lengths that fit in the center hole. After tightening all of the screws, I used a 1/2" battery-powered impact wrench to slowly turn the center screw. The flywheel was easily removed with this operation and took almost no time. The entire kit comes in a black plastic case .All you need is a few minutes and the right tool to turn the big bolts. There are no instructions but you don't need them.
