Looks great! on rear derailleurs

I bought this rear derailleur along with another to ride my ATV. They just snapped into the junction box, which I also got from Mictuning. I just followed the instructions to connect the switch and they worked great. Running the wires out of the way and out of sight behind my 5 stone lanterns and whip took me two days. I also purchased additional electrical wiring and connectors to get it right. The only thing I don't like is that the LED in the switch stays on all the time in the off position. They haven't drained the battery yet, but the longest I haven't started my ATV is 24 hours. I can hook up a switch to the ignition if that becomes a problem. Overall I am very satisfied with this product. Update 1/1/20 - These switches have been on my ATV for over 3 months now. As I wrote in my review. I had some concerns about battery drain while my quad was not in use as the switches are always lit as I have my lights connected directly to the battery. One switch for the stone lanterns and one for my lighted whip. I've had sub-zero temperatures for over a month. During that time the temperature dropped into the single digits and I didn't start my quad for 4 days. Started right away with no problems. The battery consumption of these backlit switches is very low. But if you want to connect it to the ignition, that's fine. In my opinion you don't have to. On another note. I've found that you can easily remove the switch button itself since it's just a pin on the back. My jacket got caught on the switch once and turned it off. I just put it back in with no problems. Mictuning makes a switch holder that already has 3 switches, but for some reason they won't change them to customer specifications. Probably because they would have to open sealed packages to do so. I'm not sure if they already do this or not, but maybe they could sell the shifter separately from the shifter assembly. I'm sure it will cost less and customers will buy it to get what they need. See the photos I've added. 02/19/21. UPDATE I moved last June so I put my 4wheeler in storage for about 7 or 8 months until I found a new location. I didn't leave it running the whole time so the battery died but charged. If I ran it every month or so I don't think there would be a problem. Anything that draws power from your battery will drain it over time, so these lighted switches are no exception, even though they're LED. If you don't want the battery to run out after a month or so, connect it to the ignition.
