We travel in our van all the time so I bought it because lighting and space are an issue when you want to do makeup. It's really bright, but not so bright that it blinds you. The magnifying glass is great for plucking eyebrows. On travel days I keep it in the original packaging. A great addition to our fast-paced lives.
