Review on TICONN 100 Solder Seal Wire Connectors - Waterproof & Insulated Butt Splice Terminals For Electrical Wires (100PCS) by Justin Kautzman

I purchased these for low voltage electrical connections on a travel trailer. Used them for new taillights, markers, outside lighting and breakaway safety switch. Liked the idea of them being advertised as waterproof. Hoping this claim is accurate as these are obviously wet and dirty locations. Only time will tell but they seem to work well.Had to purchase a heat gun so that was an added expense but now I'm the proud owner of one of those.Found that you have to support the wires while the connection cools and you have to keep the heat gun at a specific distance and always moving in order to get the right amount of heat to melt the solder while not melting the plastic. It's a fine balance.Again, overall very satisfied with the product and hopeful it holds up.
