Best wire connectors.

Did a few tests to learn how to use it properly, now to fix some wires on my truck a squirrel decided to chew on That were in it’s way to make a nest.Strip your wires then push the ends together and twist for better connection (push the wires till they touch the plastic of the other and twist so it looks like one wire). Slide wire connector into place centering the solder over the wire. I use a heat gun to get more even heating on the connector to shrink all heat shrink then hold it at the…

Great connectors! for my opinion

A great way to reconnect wiring that not only makes a really good continuity, yet seals/moisture proofs the connection.

Work good, but not perfect

I saw the idea of these solder shrink wraps and instantly had to buy them. Although i have to say they are not as good as I thought. The solder in the middle does not like to melt easily. I was not able to melt the solder in the middle with a lighter, so I used a small butane torch from far. Safe to say the whole shrink wrap melted before the solder did and I think its mainly an inconsistency because some work fine and others melt completely before the solder starts to melt. Does it's job good for me

It took some trial and error to get these to work. I thought that the metal ring in the middle was to crimp and then you heat to melt the plastic. Turns out you only use the heat gun with no crimping involved. Instructions could have been a little better but great product!

These are the ones with meltable solder in them. It took a couple tries to find. But man are the worth it. Easy to use and a better fit than crimp I believe

Purchased for a specific application

I purchased these for low voltage electrical connections on a travel trailer. Used them for new taillights, markers, outside lighting and breakaway safety switch. Liked the idea of them being advertised as waterproof. Hoping this claim is accurate as these are obviously wet and dirty locations. These are not for every electrical. connection situation, but they are outstanding for many applications. Very pleased!
