Did a few tests to learn how to use it properly, now to fix some wires on my truck a squirrel decided to chew on That were in it’s way to make a nest.Strip your wires then push the ends together and twist for better connection (push the wires till they touch the plastic of the other and twist so it looks like one wire). Slide wire connector into place centering the solder over the wire. I use a heat gun to get more even heating on the connector to shrink all heat shrink then hold it at the center to finish melting the solder. Allow to cool for a few minutes then slide regular heat shrink over it and shrink that for a better water tight connection.Pros: Easy to use. You can pull hard and it won’t separate unless you don’t let it cool before tugging on it. Learned that from experience.Cons: Heat shrink is on the thin side, that’s why I gave it a 4 star. If you twist the wires like I do and one sticks up a bit it almost pokes through when done. Hence the need for regular heat shrink over it.Was going to post pictures but here is no spot to from iPads latest update unfortunately.
